Burning in barrels or small piles is closed as of July 15, 2025.

The burn ban does not include campfires in designated areas for the purposes of cooking or warming.  Campfires must be attended at all times. Fires should be located 15 feet away from structures, trees and overhanging branches.

Beach fires are regulated by Oregon State Parks. Current information is available by calling 800 551-6949.

Beach fires are allowed only within dry sand at least 50 feet from any grass and/or driftwood. Attend fires at all times.  Fully extinguish fires with water. 

All burning is banned during Red Flag Warnings.
